Set Your Compass Before You Walk
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
A compass is useless if you never look at it. Plenty of men are moving fast in a direction they never actually chose — they inherited it, drifted into it, or copied it from the loudest voice around them.
Before the noise of the day sets your heading, give God the first word. Five honest minutes with Scripture will steady your decisions more than an hour of scrolling ever could.
Direction beats speed. Fix your true north, then move.

Father, before I move today, set my direction. Give me the courage to follow you when it costs me something. Amen.
